● Can I customize the flavors in my macaron/chocolate collection?
Currently we offer customizable party favors and pink purses online. If you would like to personalize other orders you'll need to visit one of our sweet boutiques in New Orleans!
● Can I pay using a gift card?

● Do you ship internationally?

● Do you ship to PO, APO or FPO Boxes?
No. UPS, our preferred shipper, does not offer this service. Each order will need a valid physical address to ensure proper delivery.
● Can I ship to multiple addresses?
Yes! When you set up an account you have the option to enter multiple addresses that can be saved for future use too!
● When will my order ship?
This depends on the delivery date and shipping method you selected. We will ship your order with the fewest transit days possible to ensure freshness.
● When can I expect to receive my order?
You should receive an order confirmation email that will state the requested arrival date and include a tracking number. You can log into your account to track your package or paste the tracking number here for an updated status.
● Why don’t you ship over the weekends/offer Monday delivery?
The integrity of Sucré products relies on consistent temperatures; often packages will sit in storage warehouses over the weekend where temperatures can rise above ideal levels. For this reason we do not offer Monday delivery.
● Why do shipping rates increase in the summer months?
Being located in the South naturally comes with a great deal of heat! For the warmer months we pack each order in a Styrofoam ice chest with frozen gel packs and dry ice to ensure that they arrive to the recipient as perfectly as they left our Confection Studio. These added precautionary items add to the total shipping cost. As soon as the temperatures drop, so do our shipping rates!

● Do you deliver?
Yes! Call one of our sweet boutiques for delivery options. We offer curbside pickup at all three locations as well. Just give us a call and we can run your order out to your car!
● Do you offer store buyouts?
We will gladly consider renting one of our stores for an ultra-special event. Contact the Store Manager at your preferred boutique for more information.

● Where is Sucré's kitchen located?
All of our sweet treats are made at our Confection Studio in Mid-City New Orleans.
● Are any Sucré products gluten free?
Yes, many of our items are gluten free! Our French macarons (unless otherwise noted), Dark & Milk Chocolate Bark, Chocolate Bars (with the exception of the Salted Pretzel & Strawberry Amaretti Crunch), Drinking Chocolates, Marshmallows, and most of our artisan chocolates (unless otherwise noted) are all gluten free. We employ every measure to ensure sanitation between usages of equipment; however, we do use the same equipment for both gluten and gluten free products.
● Are any Sucré products vegetarian or vegan?
Yes! Our vegan options include the Sucre 65 Chocolate Bar, Candied Violet Chocolate Bar, Coconut Toasted Almond Chocolate Bar, Dark Chocolate Bark, and our Drinking Chocolates.
● Which of Sucré's products contain nuts?
Although nuts may not be in the name of a dessert, there may be a nut component tucked inside. We employ every measure to ensure sanitation between usages of equipment; however, we do use the same equipment for both nut and nut free products.
● What is the difference between gelato and ice cream?
Gelato is made with whole milk, giving the frozen dessert a richness without masking the desired taste with fat from heavy cream. The flavors are often very intense and the texture is soft and silky. At Sucré we pasteurize Louisiana cane sugar for all of our gelatos and sorbets. Ice Cream consists of milk, heavy cream and egg yolks. It is churned at a faster speed resulting in more air being folded into the final product.
● What is the difference between a macaron and a macaroon?
Macarons are delicate, almond-flour based wafer sandwiches. All of Sucré's signature and seasonal macarons are filled with either a ganache or mousseline center. Macaroons are dome shaped cookies made of coconut and often come dipped in chocolate. While the coconut treats are delicious in their own right, at Sucré we specialize in the French version!
● What is the shelf life of your macarons?
Our macarons are at their freshest when consumed within 7 days of receiving. Refrigerate any uneaten cookies in an airtight container. Best served cool to the touch.
● How long do your chocolates stay fresh?
Our chocolates are made with ganaches containing fresh cream. For optimal taste please enjoy these beauties within 21 days of receiving. Refrigeration is not suggested as sudden temperature changes will cause the chocolates to lose their shine and elegant appearance.
● When are King Cakes available?
Per tradition, King Cakes are sold from Twelfth Night (January 6th) until Mardi Gras day (date varies) every year. If you love our King Cake, be sure to try its Irish Twin, the Sucré Paddy Cake, which is available from Ash Wednesday through St. Patrick's Day!
● What is a King Cake and why are they only sold during certain times of year?
"Twelfth Night", "King's Day", or "Epiphany" are all names for the day occurring twelve nights after Christmas when the wise men celebrated the birth of the baby Jesus. King Cake, which represents the three kings who brought gifts, is often made and taken to social gatherings throughout Carnival Season. A small plastic baby or other trinket is either baked or placed inside the King Cake, with tradition being that whoever receives the baby in their piece of cake must buy the next King Cake or host the next party!
The Sucré King Cake is made of a braided cinnamon and sugar dough, laced with ribbons of rich cream cheese. Once baked, the circular cake is glazed in sugar then airbrushed with the three traditional Mardi Gras colors: Purple, representing Justice, Green, representing Faith, and Gold, representing Power. We finish our take on the classic with a dusting of edible glitter and place a plastic baby in the center of the cake for recipients to insert before serving. (Baking the baby directly into the King Cake has become less commercially common due to it presenting a choking hazard.)

● How much does a custom cake cost?
Our tiered wedding and specialty cakes start at $500, and our sculpted cakes (3D designs) start at $1500. After a cake tasting and consultation with one of our chefs you will be sent a proposal with pricing based off of the complexity of your custom design.
● Will Sucré make a (Harry Potter, Dora the Explorer, My Little Pony) cake?
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to replicate copyrighted designs. However, our highly talented chefs will happily work with you to create a custom design for your special occasion!

We opened our doors on Magazine Street, our flagship boutique, in April 2007. Since then we have expanded to two additional locations in the New Orleans area as well as grown our web and wholesale branches.
